The Weaving Room~

A place to weave a little magic into everyday

You know those tedious tasks, half-formed habits, and someday ideas? The creative sparks you never quite got to light? Bring them here and watch them take shape in good company.

The Weaving Room is a weekly virtual co-working space where we gather and focus on whatever matters most for that hour.

Think of it as grown-up study hall for people who work better with others. Bring your to-do list, your mess, or your muse.

A place to weave a little magic into your everyday

Weekly Thursday virtual Co-working
November through April

9:00-10:30 am Pacific. Time

who this is for

This is for you if you…

  • have creative projects (writing, art, music, that half-finished quilt) that keep getting set aside for someday

  • do your own thing for a living, and the emails, newsletters, invoices, or website updates keep sliding to "later"
  • are drowning in adulting: forms, emails, paperwork, decluttering, the appointment you've had on your list to make

  • have a brain that simply works better with other humans nearby

  • are tired of the shame spiral and ready for a kind, gentle rhythm that nourishes your soul

If you've ever finished a dreaded task in twenty minutes because a friend happened to be in the room, you already know how this works.

Why work in a group setting?

For so many of us, starting something alone feels harder than starting it with a friend. Even a simple task can feel too big, competing responsibilities feel distracting, and it can be hard to stay focused on just the one next thing.

Body doubling is a simple, time-tested strategy: you do your task while someone else is present, doing theirs. Something about another person working nearby helps with focus and follow-through.  Book clubs, gym buddies, study groups and work parties are all similar in concept.

The Weaving Room gives you community support every week, plus a circle of kind humans who are expecting you and cheering you on. Over time, it becomes a rhythm: a dependable place in your week to experience easeful productivity.

FAQs

  • Do I need to be a business owner or professional to come?  No, all are welcome.

  • Do I have to come every week? Come whenever you can. Consistency helps, but life happens.

  • What kinds of tasks can I bring? Anything. Newsletters, sales pages, taxes, homework, a book chapter, curriculum design, sketching, filing, decluttering a drawer, catching up on email. If it's on your mind and taking up space, this is the time for it.

  • What if I don't know what to work on? Totally fine! In fact, we can spend a minute during check-in helping you pick one small, do-able thing.

  • Do I have to share my work? Never. You can share as much or as little about your work as you want. Nobody sees your screen or your sock drawer.

  • Is this coaching? Not exactly. It's a supportive container for doing, not a coaching session. That said, if you'd like deeper support, I'm happy to talk about one-on-one coaching.

  • Why aren't there sessions every single week? We'll meet approximately twice per month for the rest of 2026 and then move into weekly sessions as the new year begins.

  • Will you accept payment plans? I am happy to work with you on a payment plan if the full fee is an obstacle

  • What are the dates?

All sessions are Thursdays, 9–10:30 am Pacific.

November: 5, 12

December: 3, 17

January: 7, 14, 21, 28

February: 4, 11, 18, 25

March: 4, 11, 18, 25

April: 1, 8, 15, 22

I'll do my best to stick to every date and if anything changes I'll give you as much notice as I can, and offer a makeup session.

who am I?

JessPart2-2.jpg

Hi, I'm Jessica Gutierrez of Web of Life Coaching. For the past five years I've worked with many amazing human beings as a professional life and business coach.  My role is to walk alongside my clients as they learn, grow, heal and expand their perceptions of what's possible for them in their lives, and then support them as they do the transformative work of creating.

I'm also a creative solopreneur and homeschooling mom living on the wild southern Oregon coast, so I know firsthand how easy it is to put off soul centered creative work in the face of endless responsibilities.  Creating rhythms that actually work, ones that leave room for both getting things done and making time for creativity and growth, is something I practice daily. And quite frankly, it's something I need the support of  like minded others humans and usually a coach.

Truth be told, I created The Weaving Room as much for myself as for you. It's an evolution of the myriad groups, workshops and private coaching programs I've offered over the years, inspired by how I myself work best; in community. .

As I grow as a coach, a mom and a community member, I continue to educate myself about how and why people are motivated.  It makes perfect sense to me that group work helps many of us get things done in a way that feels fun and interesting. Group co-working sessions help overcome task paralysis, procrastination, indecision, overwhelm, or the sense of isolation many of us feel daily. Plus, it's simply fun to connect with other people you may never meet otherwise.

Whatever the case is for for you, if this group would serve you I'd love to have you in the Weaving Room right alongside me, weaving magic into everyday life.
